Actor Choo Young-woo successfully concluded his first solo fan meeting in Tokyo, Japan. The event, titled "2026 CHOO YOUNG WOO FANMEETING [CHOO-prise!] in JAPAN," took place at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on the 20th and was held over two sessions. Choo Young-woo opened the performance by greeting the packed audience in Japanese. He kicked off the stage with a Japanese rendition of "Sparkle," the theme song from the anime "Your Name." This fan meeting marked the first time he held a solo fan meeting in Tokyo, following previous events in Osaka in November and Saitama in December last year.
Upcoming Projects and Recent Work
Choo Young-woo revealed he is currently filming for ENA's "The Love Coach" and Netflix's "Long Vacation," both of which are scheduled to air this year. He also dropped a surprise spoiler about "The Love Coach," heightening fans' anticipation. Since the conclusion of tvN's "Head over Heels" in July last year, he has not appeared in any other dramas. In December 2023, he returned to the screen with the film "Even If This Love Disappears Tonight." Additionally, he has been cast in the second season of "Severe Trauma Center."
