Lee Kyung-sil met fans she had connected with through social media 11 years ago ahead of her performance in the play "Love, Mom" at the Milyang Theater Festival on the 24th. On Instagram, she shared, "Yesterday, Friday the 24th, there was a performance of 'Love, Mom' at the Milyang Theater Festival. I departed at 10:18 a.m. by KTX and arrived in Milyang at 12:45 p.m. I met my group, enjoyed delicious milmyeon, and had a pleasant chat at a cafe."
Grateful for fans' heartfelt support
Lee Kyung-sil said she received a cup filled with rice castella, yappap, and various fruits, all handmade by her fans. She wrote, "Happy Shin Yeo-sa. The rice castella, yappap, and assorted fruits were made from scratch and beautifully packed in a cup for me and the cast to enjoy. I'm also deeply grateful for the ice-cold water. Thank you so much." She added that fans had informed her she had been elected president of the Milyang branch fan club. Lee Kyung-sil responded, "Unfortunately, I don't have any members yet. I truly appreciated it. I'm passing on my thanks to the actors and crew."
Performance with daughter Son Su-ah, returns home on KTX at 9:16 p.m.
Lee Kyung-sil revealed that she is currently performing in the play "Love, Mom" alongside her daughter Son Su-ah. She said, "Everyone was so welcoming. On the KTX train back at 9:16 p.m., we were filled with joyful laughter. That energy is still with me. I'm confident the afternoon performance at Daehak-ro at 5 p.m. tomorrow will go smoothly. Have a happy weekend." She said she felt uplifted by meeting her fans before the performance.
