Greenfish Studio, the production company behind 'The Suspect'—which demonstrated the power of Korean action cinema by drawing 4.13 million viewers—is once again taking on the action genre. Set in 'Purgatory,' a hellish detention center where law and order have collapsed, this film is a hardcore prison action piece depicting a desperate struggle for survival.
The released main trailer offers a rapid, intense look at the grim interior of the detention center and the reality of a lawless zone where only brute force prevails. The story begins when government official Shin Sang-hyun (Jo Seong-ha) makes a proposal to eliminate Yeom-wang (Kim Jae-hyun), the absolute ruler of the facility. After accepting the offer, the protagonist Yu-seong (Bruce Khan) infiltrates deep into the prison for his survival and freedom. The film promises 101 minutes of high-tension close-quarters combat and physical brawls amidst extreme circumstances where no one can be trusted.
