Acting was not his initial dream. Driven by his love for making others laugh, he moved to Seoul and devoted himself to preparing for a career as an announcer. However, the unexpected spread of COVID-19 became a major turning point in his career path. While grappling with the changing broadcasting landscape, he received a suggestion from announcer Jang Sung-kyu, who was already well-known at the time, saying, "I'd like you to try acting." This unexpected challenge in a new field became the catalyst for him to find his true calling. Realizing that acting suited him perfectly, he set a new goal to become an actor.

From Acting Challenges to Wedding Officiating: A Versatile Hustle

After discovering his aptitude for acting, he has been engaging in various activities to make a living while pursuing his acting career. To keep his dream alive, he constantly attends auditions and devotes himself to acting studies, while simultaneously working various jobs, such as officiating weddings, to manage practical living expenses. He has also shown his versatility by teaching English to children at an English kindergarten. He continues to attend auditions to solidify his position as an actor.

His goals are very specific. There is an audition held for all students at his current acting academy, and he aims to place in the top three. Regarding the academy's ranking system, he jokingly expressed his frustration, saying, "I don't know why people are being so hard on each other." He followed up with a playful reaction, asking, "Why are you all telling me what to do all of a sudden?"

During a gathering with comedian seniors, he cited 'Gise' (presence/spirit) as the most essential quality for a comedian. He then took control of the atmosphere by showcasing his specialty: mimicking snoring. Presenting a unique perspective that snoring has different stages, he provided a detailed reenactment ranging from a stage where the person is unaware they are snoring to a stage where those around them notice, saying, "You snore a bit." As he produced sounds that were strikingly realistic, the crowd erupted in praise, saying, "That sounds so real" and "The detail is incredible."

This snoring mimicry is not mere imitation but the result of keen observation. He revealed that he acquired this talent by observing his father's snoring through its various stages.
