YouTuber Hazelight recorded her workation journey to Croatia to overcome burnout caused by work. According to the video, Hazelight recently experienced burnout due to work overload and stress, and decided to travel alone during the last week of August to resolve this.

Before deciding on a travel destination, Hazelight contemplated three options: visiting another city in the United Kingdom, going to South Korea, or going to the United States. In the video, she mentioned a 55% inclination to go to the United States and a 45% inclination to stay in the United Kingdom, but ultimately decided the destination through a roulette (ladder game). According to the roulette result, the final destination was set as Croatia, and she headed to Split, Croatia, via a cheap 36-pound flight from London.

Upon arriving in Split, Hazelight carried out a workation schedule, combining work with her stay at the accommodation. In the video, she stated that after arriving on Tuesday night, she planned to work at her accommodation on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The downtown area of Split is formed around a castle built during the Roman Empire era, and ruins that appear to have been entrances used by ancient sailors or sites for religious rituals are located throughout the city. Hazelight explored the historical background of the city while observing the stones of the ruins made of limestone, granite, marble, and other materials.

Records of local food and city atmosphere

Hazelight conveyed the atmosphere of Split while tasting local food. She recorded the characteristics of Mediterranean cuisine through dishes such as beef patty meals using ciabatta bread and meals accompanied by olive oil and salt. Hazelight explained Split by saying, "The infrastructure feels a bit like Austria or Germany, but the weather and appearance feel like Spain or Portugal." Additionally, she mentioned that compared to Italy, the city is very clean and quiet, expressing her sentiment that if she were to live in Europe in the future, she would want to move to Split.
