A video has been released showing YouTuber Guzal, who is currently visiting South Africa, recording her direct experiences with the unique urban landscapes, public safety situations, and local cost of living in South Africa. Guzal visited an underground shopping mall located in an area called the center of South Africa to observe the local racial composition and lifestyle.

While visiting a shopping mall located underground in the center of South Africa, Guzal mentioned the local racial composition. In the video, immediately after going underground, Guzal expressed her amazement at the situation where only Black people were in the underground space, saying, "There are no foreigners. I am the whitest person here. How is it that there isn't a single white person?" She explained that while many white people were visible on the first floor, it was a stark contrast to see only Black people upon descending underground.

Regarding public safety, she mentioned, "Since there are security guards in every corner, it seems safe for now." However, she added that it might be difficult to move around at night because it would be scary, stating, "I will leave by 6 PM while the sun is still up." Additionally, she conveyed the local safety situation through a scene where she received a warning from a local not to show her mobile phone.

The 5 PM finish culture and market scenes where second-hand goods are traded

Guzal observed the '5 PM finish' culture, which is one of the unique lifestyle patterns in South Africa. Seeing the surrounding shops beginning to close as it reached 5 PM, Guzal explained, "It's not even 5 PM yet, but they are already leaving work. Perhaps because of electricity issues, it is different from Asia." After hearing from a local that "people leave work from 5 PM," Guzal conveyed the local atmosphere, saying, "Africa finishes work at 5 PM, that's good."

The scenes of markets and streets were also captured. Watching second-hand clothes, shoes, and second-hand electronics like remote controls being sold, Guzal said, "It seems like they bring things that white people throw away and sell them." She also observed the local way of life by watching people repairing shoes and seeing food sold at low prices.

Steak and wine prices enjoyed at a restaurant with an ocean view

To conclude her journey, Guzal visited a restaurant with an ocean view. Regarding the prices here, Guzal evaluated, "Even 4-star hotels are very expensive, but even though this place has an ocean view, the amount is very reasonable." In particular, she mentioned that a bottle of wine is in the 20,000 won range and steak is also served at a price of less than 30,000 won, saying, "The steak in this country is cheap and delicious."

Guzal ate steak paired with the local wine Pinotage, expressing the taste by saying, "The sauce is really delicious. The sauce is the key to this restaurant." She also finished her meal by emphasizing that the price range of local food is affordable.
