Trot singer Tae Jin Ah revealed his deep affection and devotion toward his wife, his life partner. Appearing on the original content 'Van Live' from the Miss & Mister Trot YouTube channel, Tae Jin Ah candidly shared everything from his special meeting with his wife to his current daily life.

Tae Jin Ah recalled his first meeting with his wife during his time in the United States in the early 1980s. According to Tae Jin Ah's remarks in the video, he had moved to the United States dreaming of the American Dream but was in a very difficult economic state at the time. He mentioned the days when his circumstances were so poor that he "was a complete beggar," noting that he once took only 45 dollars from Inbongwon. He was even in a situation where he could barely afford a plane ticket to get there.

Tae Jin Ah said he followed her around for more than six months to convey his feelings to meet her. He explained that he shed tears while showing a photo of his situation, as he was grieving because he could not attend his mother's funeral in Korea, and seeing this, his wife opened her heart, starting their connection. Tae Jin Ah added that he studied English for her and spent time working together at local events in the United States.

He revealed that his wife is currently suffering from dementia and that her condition changed rapidly about a year ago, leading to a situation where she must use a wheelchair.

Tae Jin Ah explained that he is adjusting outdoor activities in consideration of his wife's condition. He shared that because his wife finds it difficult to go out during the hot summer or cold winter, he spends his daily life according to her condition, such as taking her to a cafe when the weather becomes cool in autumn. He emphasized that he is making efforts so that her condition does not progress further.
