Artist Dept, in his 11th year since debut, presents 'Blue' and 'Trees' at the MU:CON 2026 Showcase

R&B and indie pop artist Dept took the stage for 'Voyage Stage', the second showcase of MU:CON 2026. According to the video released on the official YouTube channel of the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), Dept presented a live performance capturing his musical colors at this showcase.

In the following stage, he presented 'Blue', a song released for the first time this year. Dept introduced the song as having a slightly 'chill' feel and a groovy atmosphere. On stage, he continued his live performance following the flow of the song, which consists of English lyrics such as "Blue on the bark of winter trees, waiting for spring to come." Throughout the song, Dept requested responses from the audience, saying, "Everybody scream."

After the first song, Dept continued with the 'Trees' stage. The performance captured in the video consisted of a live performance showing the artist's musical individuality. Throughout the song, Dept proceeded with the stage by inducing responses from the audience, saying, "Everybody, make some noise again." During the 'Trees' stage, lyrics such as "Looking out a forest painted green" and "Can we just be the trees?" followed, delivering the artist's unique sensibility.
