Major actors including Park Bo-young and Kim You-jung, and reality programs sweep Gold and Silver awards
At this awards ceremony held in Bangkok, Thailand on August 27 (local time), CJ ENM won in various categories spanning dramas and variety shows. Looking at the major award details, the reality program 'I Am Boxer' won the Gold award for 'Best Original Reality Programme Made in Asia'. The program was recognized for its competitive content, featuring a differentiated format based on boxing and capturing the challenges and growth of the participants.
The performances of the actors were also outstanding. Park Bo-young, from the drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul' produced by Studio Dragon, won the Gold award for 'Best Female Lead in a TV Programme/Series Made in Asia'. Following this, Kim You-jung from the TVING original 'Dear X' won the Silver award in the same category, drawing attention from global viewers for her acting skills in densely portraying a complex character.
Global influence of K-content proven by winning for two consecutive years
In addition, Mnet's 'World of Street Woman Fighter' won the Bronze award for 'Best Variety Programme Made in Asia', and Studio Dragon's 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' won the Bronze award for 'Best Drama Series for Regional/International Market'. Along with this, 'Spring Fever' produced by CJ ENM STUDIOS received the Bronze award in the 'Viewers’ Choice: Most Romantic Moment' category.
Following last year, when 'Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born' won the Gold award for 'Best Drama Series for Regional/International Market' and 'I-LAND2: N/a' won the Silver award for 'Best Original Reality Programme Made in Asia', CJ ENM has proven its global content competitiveness for the second consecutive year by achieving awards at the ContentAsia Awards again this year.
