"If I entered their body"… The cast of 'Dive into You' imagines body-swapping

The leads of the drama 'Dive into You' revealed their inner thoughts by setting up a hypothetical situation called 'body-swap.' The cast of this work, which will be released through Channel A and Disney+, provided interesting answers through a video interview that reflected both their characters and their actual personalities.

"Eating chicken in a penthouse"... Imagining living as the character

In the video, the cast members gave different reasons for what they would want to do if they swapped bodies with someone else for one day. Jang Se-hyeok (playing Yoon Ha-ru) mentioned a specific way to relax, saying that if he swapped into Kim Ji-yeon's (playing Yoon Ha-na) body, he would want to sit on a sofa in the spacious penthouse where Ha-na lives, eat chicken, and enjoy a movie.

Park Seo-ham (playing Jung Woo-jae) expressed his desire to become Kim Ji-yeon's body and experience life on stage as an actress receiving support from fans. Moon Seung-yu (playing Seo Hae-rang) drew laughter by revealing a realistic goal of wanting to earn more money in the other person's body to expand a company. In this way, the cast shared imaginations utilizing the environments and professional characteristics of their characters.

"A character who cannot confess"... Interpretations of emotions in the script

The cast also spoke about the relationships and emotional lines of the characters in the drama. Regarding his role, Jung Woo-jae, Park Seo-ham mentioned the character's personality, saying, "If it were Woo-jae, he wouldn't have lived as a solo since birth until age thirty-three without being able to confess like that." Regarding this, Kim Ji-yeon added that while reading the script, she thought about how a person would feel having spent over ten years without being able to confess.

Kim Ji-yeon expressed a personal wish regarding the relationship between the characters, saying to her counterpart Jang Se-hyeok, "I think it would be happy if Ha-ru expressed his feelings a bit more actively." On the other hand, Moon Seung-yu mentioned the somewhat frustrating side of Jung Woo-jae, reacting that if he were the other person, he would rather approach more actively and lead the relationship.

If you could reveal your identity, to whom?

Under the assumption that they could only reveal their identity to one person in a body-swap situation, the cast made different choices. Jang Se-hyeok answered that he would not reveal his identity to Ha-ru out of concern for the possibility of making a slip of the tongue, while Kim Ji-yeon indicated her intention to reveal her identity to the other person. Moon Seung-yu showed a flexible attitude, saying that the other person could become a reliable business partner.
