"Experienced low blood pressure and lethargy"... Exercise started to overcome burnout

Han Ga-in explained her condition at the time, saying, "I had burnout for about three years, so I couldn't do anything and just lay down every day." In particular, she experienced physical difficulties as symptoms of low blood pressure appeared, and she reported that her condition was so poor that she felt fear that she might not be able to keep up with the speed of crossing a crosswalk when the traffic light changed. This state also led to psychological depression.

To overcome this, Han Ga-in established a step-by-step exercise plan. At first, she started yoga to build up her physical strength, and later recovered her bodily functions by combining PT (personal training) and aerobic exercise. Han Ga-in suggested that exercise played a decisive role in improving her quality of life, saying, "As my body gets better, my mood improves, and it becomes less tiring and I get less irritated when playing with my children." Han Ga-in added that she has a diligent personality to the point where she feels guilty if she is not doing something productive.

"I wanted to escape the female actress frame"... Reflections on her image transformation

The conversation continued regarding her career. Han Ga-in mentioned the points where she agonized over the standardized image an actress is supposed to have. "There is a frame that female actresses must be polished and well-behaved, and I wondered why it had to be that way," she said, adding that she actually felt a thrill in showing an image different from her actual self. Han Ga-in explained that her actual self is a more easygoing style.

These contemplations led to unconventional moves such as appearing on the entertainment program 'SNL Korea', and as a result, drew positive responses from the public. Han Ga-in added, "It's not that I didn't worry before releasing content, but rather those challenges removed my fear," and that she currently feels comfortable showing her true self.

Married life with Yeon Jung-hoon, "The power of a presence that becomes my side"

She also gave sincere answers regarding her married life with actor Yeon Jung-hoon. Han Ga-in revealed that she was not greatly afraid of the impact on her career at the time of marriage. In particular, she said that when being criticized by an unspecified multitude as a celebrity, the fact that her husband always became her side was a great comfort.

Regarding her first meeting with Yeon Jung-hoon, she made a joke-filled confession that "actually, at first, he wasn't much," recalling that his appearance of being kind to everyone was actually something to be wary of. However, she explained that she built trust by seeing him being sincere to people around him, such as taking care of the staff on set. Han Ga-in conveyed that the two are currently maintaining a stable relationship without major arguments. Over a period of about 20 years, the two have fought a few times in situations such as becoming sensitive when the children are sick, but they live while acknowledging each other's differences.
