"Music and walks on an island": The scenery of Lee Yo-won's second act

When asked what kind of life she would like to lead if she were to retire in the future, Lee painted a detailed picture of her daily routine. She mentioned living on an island with one room and one studio. She described a daily life where she wakes up in the morning to listen to music and read the newspaper, takes a walk to the beach with her dog, and enjoys wine while watching the sunset over the sea. This reflects her contemplation of a lifestyle centered on enjoying time alone.

She also touched upon dreams she held in the past, recalling that she once wanted to be a world traveler. She suggested that travel is a driving force in her life and a gift that expands her emotional range, though she added the realistic reflection that traveling is not as easy as it seems.

"Enjoying each day step by step rather than having clear goals"

Regarding how she wishes to be remembered as an actress, she mentioned her past thought of wanting to be a "cool actress," but revealed how her values have since changed. Lee expressed the attitude that if one always does their best, there will be no regrets; rather than setting distinct goals, she believes that by enjoying each day, one can naturally approach their goals.

She maintained a calm attitude regarding her life choices as well. Addressing the timing of her early marriage, she drew a line by stating, "I have no regrets." While there may be comfort to be found in the paths not taken, she showed a determination to live the present joyfully and diligently rather than dwelling on the past.

A trip to Suwon with monkfish braised in spicy sauce

During the broadcast, Lee visited a restaurant in Suwon specializing in monkfish braised in spicy sauce (agwijeom) to enjoy a meal. Tasting the monkfish braised with the liver and meat, she expressed such satisfaction that she remarked her "mouth had burst open." Faced with the dish, which combined spicy seasoning with mild meat, she showed a side of herself more like a person enjoying daily life than a typical actress.
