"Zero Acting Experience" CLOSE YOUR EYES, Behind-the-Scenes of Movie-like Interlude Film Filming

The behind-the-scenes footage of the Interlude Film filming conducted by the group CLOSE YOUR EYES ahead of their album release has been revealed. This video contains the work process related to 'Open Your Eyes' from the 4th Mini Album 【256th Note】, scheduled for release on September 30, 2026, at 6 PM.

"A field with zero experience"... Members' first acting challenge facing the script

In the video, the members engaged in acting work based on the scripts they received for the film shoot. The cast also expressed their unfamiliarity with acting. The early part of the video captures the process of members reading the received scripts and preparing to act according to the emotions they feel. One member showed a challenging attitude, mentioning that they have zero background knowledge or experience in this field.

During the filming process, attempts to capture the characters' emotions continued. The line "What people are truly afraid of is not pain, but the imagination of pain" appeared repeatedly, and scenes were directed where the conflicts and emotional lines between characters intersected. In particular, scenes showing the relationships the characters are in were filmed through lines such as "It's convenient to go to school with you" or "I have never once thought of you as a friend." Additionally, sharp confrontations between characters were depicted through lines such as "I'm transferring because of you" or "Have you ever once thought of me as a friend?"

From sawing to rain scenes, variables on the actual filming set

The filming was not limited to simply reciting lines but proceeded in various environments. The members filmed scenes using actual saws to perform sawing, and one member conveyed the liveliness of the filming set, saying, "I had specially done sawing twice at my maternal grandmother's house, but this was completely different from that. It wasn't easy because I used such a large saw." Also, scenes using water to create a rainy situation were included. They continued filming by being hit by natural rain or creating a rainy atmosphere through artificial effects. One member even experienced water falling on their head during filming.

Unexpected situations were also captured on set. The video captures members making noise in the forest during filming or trying to maintain the emotional lines of specific characters. In the video, the actual atmosphere of the set can be confirmed, such as sharing character interpretations with lines like "The character Min-woo is looking at Gochi now, he's noisy with these emotions, but I'm not quite like that," and scenes of being conscious of the camera during filming. Additionally, the line "The reason bamboo can grow tall is because it emptied its inside" appeared throughout the video, supporting the atmosphere of the work.

"One page of the script in one day"... Records and reflections of the 3-day shoot

After finishing the filming that lasted for three days, the members shared their thoughts. One member said, "One whole page of the script was all my lines. When I first received it, I thought, 'Can I memorize all of this?', but I have a good memory so I memorized it all in one day." Another member shared their reflections, saying, "At first, it was very difficult because I didn't know if the acting was going well, but I took lessons and came here to adjust a lot, so I think I have gained a truly important experience."

The members mentioned that this filming was fun and difficult because there were many differences from existing music video filming. In particular, they shared the experience of struggling while delivering lines related to bamboo. The members announced the end of the three-day filming with the greeting, "Please love the trailer that we prepared hard and filmed hard."
