"Cat Meowing Heard"... From Russian Control Towers to Rotating Islands, Mysterious Phenomena

Unexplained mystery phenomena found throughout space and Earth are drawing attention once again. From unidentified sounds heard at a Russian air traffic control tower to the existence of a self-rotating island, cases that have failed to bridge the gap between scientific explanation and mystery have been introduced.

Cat Meowing and the Mysterious Noise of Apollo 14

In 2011, an incident occurred where a flying object presumed to be a UFO was captured in the skies above Yakutsk, the capital of the Sakha Republic in the Russian Federation. The object was reported to have flown at an altitude of 20km at a speed of 9,600km/h, showing irrational directional turns and disrupting surrounding aviation frequencies. At the time, the control tower attempted to communicate with the object, but an unidentified sound similar to a cat meowing was heard, and it was reported that communication with other aircraft was also impossible during this process. However, no official position has been announced regarding this incident.

An instance of mysterious noise occurring in outer space was also mentioned. It was an incident where, while the astronauts of Apollo 14 were conducting lunar exploration in 1969, strange noises were heard through their headsets while they were passing behind the moon and communication with Earth was cut off. At the time, NASA kept it classified considering the impact the video would cause, but it became a hot topic after the video was released following its declassification in 2016. Regarding this, NASA explained that it was a sound caused by interference between two devices, but it is known that the astronauts on board at the time remained silent about the incident.

UFO Captured on Satellite Maps and Flying Objects in Hong Kong

Flying objects accidentally captured on satellite maps and the movement of lights witnessed in Hong Kong are also cited as mysteries. In 2012, a red flying object presumed to be a UFO was captured on a satellite map of Jacksonville, Texas, in the United States. While experts analyzed this as a lens flare phenomenon, doubts were raised as an object of the same shape was also captured in Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico, approximately 1,600km away. At the time, a situation occurred where one of the photos was deleted from the map service.

Cases of flying object sightings were also reported in Hong Kong. In December 2021, an oval-shaped object was seen flying in the skies above the Kowloon Peninsula and Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong, emitting various lights such as blue, green, and white. The object showed irregular movements at an altitude much higher than the typical flight altitude of a drone, which is 90m, and appeared for about 3 days. Since a military base is located near the witnessed area, some have raised the possibility of experiments for military purposes.

Traces on Mars, Ancient Cities in the Amazon, and the Rotating Island

The possibility of the existence of life has also been discussed through photos taken by the Mars exploration robot Curiosity. A square-shaped terrain and a cactus-shaped mineral captured in 2022 were revealed to be a natural phenomenon and sulfate components, respectively, but the presence of sulfate is interpreted as evidence suggesting that water once flowed on Mars.

Meanwhile, traces of an ancient civilization were discovered in the Amazon region. In 2022, a German research team discovered the city of the Casarabe, estimated to have existed between 500 and 1400, in the Amazon basin of Bolivia. This city was a large-scale cultural sphere divided into 26 sectors, and it is analyzed to have possessed a systematic religion and class society, as evidenced by the discovery of terraced altars 22m high.

Lastly, in the Paraná River delta in Argentina, the self-rotating island 'El Ojo' remains a mystery. This island, confirmed through the time-control function of satellite maps, showed a appearance of rotating like an eyeball on the lake. Regarding the existence of this island, which has a perfect circular shape with a diameter of 120m, some researchers have raised the possibility that it could be a base to hide UFOs, but its exact cause has still not been revealed.
